this was the last song ian curtis wrote before committing suicide. although they never got to get a decent recording of this track, it is still one of my favourites of theirs. it was later adopted by new order (joy divisions re-incarnation after ian's death).
brilliant lyrics, brilliant melody, brilliant band. one of the best.
this is one of my favourite too, a! i just watched control again last night and i'm in love again. oh by the way, i'm moving to atlanta next week so if you haven't sent the package i think you should wait until i get to the new house and write you my address :)
aw, really? i just send it yesterday (monday), but i hope it will get there before you move then! :) yeah, i just went to read your blog entry. i hadn't noticed that we both made one about joy division actually. haha.
control is such a good movie. i love it. but it's really quite sad and tragic.

why are you moving?
remember my host mother i was scared of? we haven't been getting along at all so haha thats why. i'm kind of excited of moving to atlanta (in the state of georgia) though, its a big city, lots of things to see, a :)
aw, that sounds great! :) it must be really good to get away then. hopefully it will be a lot better in atlanta. take pictures and show us all, ok?
